About the Math Curse Project

The eTwinning project "Math Curse", including our school's Mathematics Teacher Özlem OKUYAN, started in November with the participation of students and other partners from our school's 10/A class who took a math project task. Our partners from Turkey, Portugal, the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria and Germany are also involved in the “Math Curse” eTwinning project.

The aim of our project is to enable our young people to develop in the digital environment by using web 2.0 tools by improving their creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, communication and cooperation skills while doing their research. Our project is to make mathematics popular by creating the awareness of seeing existing mathematics. In this process, it is aimed to create a math-themed e-book storybook as a common product, a recipe book with newly invented dishes by creating formulas similar to the dishes of countries, and a co-coded slogan. The language of our project is English and it is aimed to benefit our students' foreign language development. Contributing to the development of our future youth with 21st century skills.
